I actually shot these for Kristin and Jimmy on the 4th of July. We had so much fun hanging out with this couple. They were so clever to bring along some sparklers for some photos. We got lucky that the rain held off a little during the shoot. We first took some photos by their favorite restaurant “The Old Fashioned” and then headed to Union Square when the sun decided to peek out a little.
Sarah and Zak just love the beach. Their house is about 1 block away from the beach and the Racine Zoo, so it made perfect sense to have a beach/zoo themed wedding. They picked the perfect day for it too. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect on Saturday.

Their day consisted of a barefoot beach ceremony in the morning, riding the “Zoo Choo” with the bridal party, a relaxing lunch overlooking the lake with family & friends, hanging out with tortoise’s & chinchilla’s, feeding some giraffes, a couple slush puppies, and swimming in the lake at the end of it all. Not your typical wedding day and I love that!
