When I learned that we’d have snowfall for Meg and Dan’s engagement session, I’ll admit that I whined a little. Now I can’t imagine the day going any other way. The snow looked so perfect for their shoot on Elkhart Lake. I was so inspired by the pretty surroundings and Meg & Dan’s great chemistry, that I completely forgot how cold it was. We had some fun shooting on the frozen lake along with their adorable dog, June. Meg and Dan were amazing to work with and after hearing about their wedding, we cannot wait to photograph them again this July.

Puppies on film
Our kitchen is one of the rooms in our home that has some of the most beautiful light coming through in the afternoon. It is the only place I like taking photos of my dogs because outside they DO NOT listen to me and just want to sniff and play. Danny, our basset hound mix, was not in the mood for a photo shoot so it’s just Dinah and Bill here.
