Sara & Brandon Wedding – Madison Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Sara and Brandon lucked out for Saturday. Very little rain in Madison and the sun even came out during portraits at the Capitol. It ended up being a beautiful day. I loved Sara and Brandon’s classic and timeless look and feel for their wedding. The flowers, done amazingly by Daffodil Parker were one of my favorite details. Another thing I loved shooting was the sparkler send-off at the end of the night. I haven’t photographed a grand exit in way too long!

Got to see some past clients that I saw at last week’s wedding too. There were some of the same friends and even bridal party members. Oh how I love clients like Katie and Logan!

Worked with Jim of Juke box Bandstand who is in the Madison Wedding Guild with me. Like a great DJ, they had the dance floor packed until the very end.

Sara & Brandon Engagements – Madison, Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Sara and Brandon are getting married this Saturday in Madison. So glad we got to squeeze in an engagement session with them before the big day. We headed up north to Clintonville for their photos by a beautiful lake where they got engaged. This may have been the shortest engagement session I’ve shot since it only lasted about 45 minutes. Every shot was perfect. Every.single.one. We loved working with Sara and Brandon for that short time and cannot wait to see them on their wedding day later this week!

Candace & Tony Wedding – Spring Green Wisconsin wedding photographer

First wedding to kick off my wedding season. Woo! I was super excited for this one. Not so excited about the predicted weather for Saturday. However, the rain managed to stay away for pictures outside for the most part. Candace and Tony were so happy and upbeat despite the not-so-perfect weather. A huge thank you to them for braving the goose poop ;)

I worked with Scott at Prime Time DJ’s who is in the Madison Wedding Guild with me. Scott is super nice and very thorough. Kept the dance floor packed while I was there. I highly recommend checking out Prime Time DJ’s if you’re seeking a DJ in the Madison area.

Now on to the photos!

Utah

I have to say that my first vacation in six years was a success. I managed to stay away from my email and phone 99% of the time. It was wonderful. We went to Utah over Easter vacation with our neighbor friends. I don’t think it could have gone any better. Since there is so much to see in Utah and we only managed to see a fraction of it, we plan on going back again soon. I highly recommend visiting Moab. The national parks around there are truly amazing.

All photos taken with my Yashica A.
