Summer was definitely in full force for Jessie and Trevor’s wedding last Saturday. It was super hot outside but oh so beautiful. They tied the knot at Janesville Country Club and earlier we stopped at Rotary Gardens for pictures. The gardens were absolutely stunning along with the great color choices Jessie picked out for their wedding. I simply adore the bridesmaids dresses and the flowers. So charming and sweet.
This was probably the windiest session I’ve ever photographed. A storm was coming that night and luckily it did not hit our area with rain, but it sure hit us with wind! Laurie and Adam’s wedding is just around the corner and we cannot wait to work with this fun couple again soon!
Oh, how I love a good Wisconsin wedding. Meg and Dan got married on the most perfect day. We started shooting getting ready shots at the brides parents house on Elkhart Lake(same place we took Meg and Dan’s engagement photos). Meg and Dan ended up having a “first look” but a very different kind. They were surrounded by their family while Meg came down the stairs and Dan saw his bride for the first time. It was touching and I thought that was so cool to have your family with you for such an important moment.
I’m shooting Meg and Dan’s wedding today! We shot these bridal portraits for Meg last month and couldn’t post them until now. Meg is such a classic, natural beauty. She was a joy to photograph. Next up is Meg and Dan’s wedding post. Can’t wait to share! Enjoy these until then :)

The ceremony itself was so well done. The church was HUGE but you could definitely feel the love and positive energy flowing through it. After the ceremony we took Meg and Dan to a friends property for some more photos of just the two of them. We got to pet some horses and even chase a chicken :)
The reception was held in a tent at Victorian Villiage Resort. The whole thing screamed classy and romantic. Later on they had a Beatles cover band, The Cavern Beat, play all night long and kept the dance floor packed. I mean, who doesn’t like the Beatles? I can’t think of a more perfect kind of music for your wedding than the Beatles.
Worked with Matt and élan from I Do Films the whole day and very much enjoyed working with them.
