Bethany & Sean Day After session – Fond du Lac, Wisconsin wedding photographer

On their way up to Door County for their honeymoon, Bethany and Sean stopped in Fond du Lac to have me shoot some “day after” photos for them. I highly recommend having a day after session for lots of reasons. There may have not been enough time during the wedding day to get some great shots of just the two of you and also you can schedule your session shortly before sunset to get that golden light for your pictures. There is nothing to worry about, nothing to stress over, no where to be except where you are with your sweetheart :) I loved working with Bethany and Sean and getting to try out some locations I’ve been eying for a long time here in Fond du Lac. You can check out the film images in my last post here.

Film

I’ve had a love affair with film since I was a teen. Something about it is so very special. Here are just a handful of images taken on film over the last month.

Kate & Collin wedding – Kohler, Wisconsin wedding photographer

Second time this week that I got to photograph at River Wildlife in Kohler, Wisconsin. This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues in Sheboygan. Luck was on Kate and Collin’s side for their big day. The rain decided to stay away after all and the weather was perfection. Was totally digging the tunes played at this wedding(could swear they stole my Ipod or something! :)
This classic outdoor wedding had a bride, a groom, family, friends, lots of laughs, good food and love. Nothing else was needed to make it beautiful. Love is all you need :)

Thank you Kate and Collin! Congrats!

Haley & Jess Wedding – Sheboygan Wisconsin wedding photographer

Wedding 2 of 2 that I had last weekend. Both weddings remind me how much I love my job! Lots of outdoor gorgeousness here. If I could think of one word that best describes this wedding, I would say that word is SWEET. Everything about it was so darn sweet and swoon-worthy. Haley and Jess had a destination wedding in Kohler and brought along about 50 of their closest family and friends for the celebration. I could not believe the ease of this wedding. The number of guests probably had something to do with it, but it was also just how chill and relaxed everyone was and HELLO River Wildlife is an amazing location for a wedding. I could have spent hours taking portraits there. So happy I get to shoot there again this Saturday for another wedding. Congratulations to Haley and Jess and a huge thank you to them for letting me capture their wedding!

Emily & Jason wedding – Badger Farms wedding photographer

Ahh, Emily and Jason. I have been looking forward to their wedding for awhile and I gotta say that it was better than I imagined. Mainly because of how awesome Emily, Jason, and their families & friends were. Such an amazing group of folks! Purple was the theme for this wedding and I’m loving it(Emily’s favorites color). Rain was threatening to drench their outdoor ceremony, but luckily they were able to have their ceremony outside and it only rained for 10 minutes during cocktail hour. The weather was pretty much all over the place for their wedding: sunshine, clouds, rain, and fog! I adored everything about this wedding from the coffee shop themed tables to Emily and Jason’s surprise first dance. All taking place at Badger Farms of course.

Emily and Jason have this remarkable light about them that just shines and makes you want to get to know them more. I feel very privileged that I got the opportunity to photograph their special day. Congratulations!

The bridal photo on the upper left is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!

Amazing fog during dinner!
