Another perfect October wedding. Another fabulous couple with awesome taste. Megan and J.P had me giggling behind my camera all day because they are so darn cute together. They did a lot of things differently for their wedding. One of them was instead of doing a receiving line after the ceremony they greeted guests as they arrived at the church. I loved that! I adored all the personal touches they had at the reception including a backdrop of all red pinwheels(which apparently took a long time to make. I think it was worth it!). In all the place settings tucked into the napkins they wrote a personal note for every guest which I thought was a really sweet gesture. The family style dining along with Villa Filomena’s warm ambiance made for a beautiful and relaxing celebration. My favorite details had to be Megan’s stunning dress and the cute bow ties :)

Emmy & Kary – Madison Wisconsin Wedding Photographer
In Emmy and Kary’s questionnaire I sent them before their wedding, they stated that a huge emphasis will be on family for their wedding. I love that family was their theme. No frills, no stressing over the little things. Just lots of love going around. It was palpable and very endearing to witness the happiness these two had for their loved ones. Kary’s kids were so well behaved for pictures and little Audrey just stole my heart.
It was nice to find out that Kary’s side of his family is from Utah. Utah is sort of my second home, so it’s always great to chat with folks from there.
Once again I got to shoot at Badger Farms this year. This place is beautiful all year round!
