I’ll admit I was a tad nervous mainly because I wasn’t sure how to approach a session like this. Not that long ago I was seventeen myself(OK, Anna, 11 years ago isn’t exactly “not that long ago”, lol) and I can remember how I wanted to be photographed for my senior portraits. I basically went with that approach along with trying to capture Emma in the most honest way.
You can’t tell from the photos, but it was HOT that evening. I believe it was somewhere around 95 degrees or slightly higher. Despite the heat we had fun and I completely forgot about the temperature. The light was perfect and there were no bugs! Huzzah! As you can tell, Emma is a beautiful, STUNNING young lady. Her calm and relaxed spirit made my job super easy and so enjoyable. Thank you so much Emma!

These are gorgeous! A gorgeous girl and fabulous photos of her. And I feel you on the age.. I go, it wasn’t that long ago since I was 17/18.. Then I go, oh crap, I’m almost 29. It has been a LITTLE while. :)
