I absolutely loved this engagement session for tons of reasons. One – it was in Fond du Lac. I love shooting in practically my own backyard. Fondy has so much to offer when it comes to photos. Two – no mosquitoes! We sprayed ourselves silly with bug spray only to not get bothered by any bugs the entire time(and I think we would have been fine without the spray!). Three – Jenny and Todd have this amazing chemistry that is so endearing and sweet. One of the shortest engagement sessions I’ve shot for sure, mainly because they were so darn easy to work with! Jenny and Todd are having their September wedding in Green Bay this year.
I get a little giddy when I have the opportunity to shoot in the town where I live. It’s a rare treat for me and I’ve only done engagement shoots here in Fond du Lac. Yup, you heard right, I haven’t done a wedding in the town where I LIVE. I drive around my home town and see so many possibilities for photos so I get really happy that I get to try out these locations when I have a client willing to travel to me :) Kelly and Mike made that trip and they are pretty dang awesome for that. We had fabulous weather for the shoot and the light was perfect. These two love birds are tying the knot in Wisconsin Dells this November and we can’t wait to work with them again.
