Classic wedding at the Osthoff Resort

Jess & Dan – Kohler, Wisconsin wedding

It was a pleasure photographing Jess and Dan’s intimate wedding and reception that took place over a two day period. First they had their stunning ceremony at the American Club in Kohler surrounded by their closest family and friends. Then it was off to Whispering Springs in Fond du Lac for their wine themed reception complete with a wine tasting for their guests.

Stephanie and Al – Kohler, Wisconsin

I am back after a long blogging vacation. So far 2013 has only consisted of getting the flu so I haven’t had a lot of energy lately. I am feeling much better though and I’m excited to blog about Stephanie and Al’s sweet winter wedding. There is something about December weddings that are truly so special. Lots of fresh snow and twinkling lights but one of the things I loved most about this wedding was the gospel choir for their ceremony. Seriously, how neat is that? Stephanie and Al walked up the aisle as husband and wife while the choir sang “Oh Happy Day”. One of the coolest wedding moments last year, for sure. They held their beautiful reception at the American Club. It had been a few years since I last shot there so I was happy to be back. It was nice to see two of my past couples at this wedding(Emily & Justin and Ann Marie & Rob). So great to catch up their lives as husband and wife.

Congratulations Stephanie and Al! Thank you for being so dang awesome to work with! :)

Bethany & Sean Day After session – Fond du Lac, Wisconsin wedding photographer

On their way up to Door County for their honeymoon, Bethany and Sean stopped in Fond du Lac to have me shoot some “day after” photos for them. I highly recommend having a day after session for lots of reasons. There may have not been enough time during the wedding day to get some great shots of just the two of you and also you can schedule your session shortly before sunset to get that golden light for your pictures. There is nothing to worry about, nothing to stress over, no where to be except where you are with your sweetheart :) I loved working with Bethany and Sean and getting to try out some locations I’ve been eying for a long time here in Fond du Lac. Haley & Jess Wedding – Sheboygan Wisconsin wedding photographer

Wedding 2 of 2 that I had last weekend. Both weddings remind me how much I love my job! Lots of outdoor gorgeousness here. If I could think of one word that best describes this wedding, I would say that word is SWEET. Everything about it was so darn sweet and swoon-worthy. Haley and Jess had a destination wedding in Kohler and brought along about 50 of their closest family and friends for the celebration. I could not believe the ease of this wedding. The number of guests probably had something to do with it, but it was also just how chill and relaxed everyone was and HELLO River Wildlife is an amazing location for a wedding. I could have spent hours taking portraits there. So happy I get to shoot there again this Saturday for another wedding. Congratulations to Haley and Jess and a huge thank you to them for letting me capture their wedding!
