Aliza & Mark – Cedar Hill Farm wedding

Aliza and Mark had already tied the knot this summer in New Mexico in a small ceremony on top of a mountain. Not everyone they loved was there to witness it, so they decided to have a celebration here in Wisconsin as well. They chose Cedar Hill Farm in Markesan, Wisconsin for their celebration. This place is definitely near the top of my list of favorite barn venues! It sure felt like fall on this day. Very chilly, cloudy and lots of color on the leaves. I thought it was absolutely perfect! Since Aliza and Mark had already made it official, the day seemed so relaxed and effortless. It’s no surprise that Aliza and Mark are photographers themselves. They spent a lot of time perfecting the special details in the barn. What I loved the most were the photos from their ceremony in New Mexico hanging on the windows of the barn. A highlight for me was when they showed the Super 8 film of their ceremony. I simply loved working with these two and day went by way too fast! I’m honored they chose little ole me to capture their very colorful and happy party.

Nikki & AJ – Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin wedding photographer

Oh how I love a good Elkhart Lake wedding! This wedding screamed summertime to me. Outdoor goodness with tent and pretty lights(all held at gorgeous Victorian Village), boating, good music and food, and of course sunshine. This whole wedding was complete eye candy for me. Love all the little details they infused in their decor and of course Nikki’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. The boat ride with the bridal party around Elkhart Lake was a highlight for me and I very much enjoyed capturing the candids of their loved ones. Huge thanks to Nikki and AJ for letting us photograph your beautiful wedding and congrats!

Emily & Jason wedding – Badger Farms wedding photographer

Ahh, Emily and Jason. I have been looking forward to their wedding for awhile and I gotta say that it was better than I imagined. Mainly because of how awesome Emily, Jason, and their families & friends were. Such an amazing group of folks! Purple was the theme for this wedding and I’m loving it(Emily’s favorites color). Rain was threatening to drench their outdoor ceremony, but luckily they were able to have their ceremony outside and it only rained for 10 minutes during cocktail hour. The weather was pretty much all over the place for their wedding: sunshine, clouds, rain, and fog! I adored everything about this wedding from the coffee shop themed tables to Emily and Jason’s surprise first dance. All taking place at Badger Farms of course.

Emily and Jason have this remarkable light about them that just shines and makes you want to get to know them more. I feel very privileged that I got the opportunity to photograph their special day. Congratulations!

The bridal photo on the upper left is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!

Amazing fog during dinner!

Emily and Kyle wedding – Door County wedding photographer, Woodwalk gallery wedding

Emily and Kyle changed their original wedding date to a day I was available so they could have me shoot their wedding. How sweet!

I love it when couples include their pets in their weddings. Emily and Kyle didn’t just include one dog, but all five of their dogs. They even had adorable outfits for them. I love their simple yellow and grey barn wedding and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. I wasn’t able to meet Emily and Kyle before the wedding but found them and their family and friends very welcoming and gracious. I am so lucky to have such great clients!

Ceremony and reception at Woodwalk Gallery, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.

Emily and Mrs.Pitts

I love how they had a cow direct cars for parking.

Had to get a picture with the cow of course!

First time I’ve seen a bride and groom walk down the aisle together during the processional. I like it!

Mrs. Pitts gets a special kiss too.

During the receiving line the little ones had some fun playing croquet.
