Kelly and Jeff’s wedding ranks pretty dang high on the list of my favorite weddings of ALL TIME. For reals. Everything about this wedding was so happy, beautiful, and utterly perfect. Kelly and Jeff chose a more relaxed, intimate celebration in their backyard with a tent. Some of my favorite weddings are backyard weddings! Their ceremony was so sweet and touching. Lots of happy tears. You could just feel the happy and positive energy coming from everyone that was present to witness their union. So many meaningful details they included and a fun bridal party to boot. This wedding was stress free and I’m so honored that I was chosen to photograph it. Thank you Kelly and Jeff. Oh how I love a good Elkhart Lake wedding! This wedding screamed summertime to me. Outdoor goodness with tent and pretty lights(all held at gorgeous Victorian Village), boating, good music and food, and of course sunshine. This whole wedding was complete eye candy for me. Love all the little details they infused in their decor and of course Nikki’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. The boat ride with the bridal party around Elkhart Lake was a highlight for me and I very much enjoyed capturing the candids of their loved ones. Huge thanks to Nikki and AJ for letting us photograph your beautiful wedding and congrats!
I love when I get a chance to shoot in the cute little town of Columbus Wisconsin. I go down there sometimes since my brother lives there and every time I do I’m always oohh-ing and ahhh-ing at the adorable homes and streets. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Lauren and Eric there for their engagement shoot on a beautiful summer evening. We went to a couple locations but the last area we stumbled upon was my favorite. It’s a little area surrounded by a river and it’s breathtaking when the sun is setting. So glad we found it! Lauren is as sweet as can be and Eric scared Jonathan and I with a true “scary story” that we’ll never forget(you had to be there!). Thanks for the laughs! :)
Andrea & Patrick’s Milwaukee Wisconsin wedding
What a perfect wedding this was. Andrea and Patrick picked the first day of autumn for their 1920′s vintage inspired Milwaukee wedding. The Wisconsin Club, which held their celebration, was the perfect venue for their vision as you can see in the photos. This may be my new favorite venue in Milwaukee! So many swoon-worthy details about this wedding including Andrea’s stunning gown, the fall inspired floral(with feathers!), the adorable flower girls & ring bearer, and the overall ambiance of the reception. It was a complete blast shooting this wedding and I’m so excited to show the photos and highlight video that Jonathan of Don’t Shout Films made. Congrats Andrea and Patrick!
